A Fun-Filled Evening at the Ballpark

Last Wednesday, July 3rd, members of our First Presbyterian Church of Buffalo family gathered at Sahlen Field for the Buffalo Bisons' game against the Rochester Red Wings. Our group included Elena, Michael, Nsundidi, Maria, and Rev. Leslie. It was a night filled with excitement, bonding, and community spirit.

The Game

The energy at Sahlen Field was palpable as fans filled the seats, eager to cheer on the Bisons. Despite a valiant effort, the Bisons were bested by the Red Wings. However, our spirits remained high as we enjoyed the thrilling display of skill and sportsmanship.

Postgame Concert and Fireworks

The postgame festivities were a real treat. The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO) played classic songs including the iconic Star Wars theme, God Bless America, and Michael Jackson’s Thriller. Everyone was on their feet, dancing and singing along.

To cap off the evening, we were treated to a stunning fireworks display. The brilliant colors and patterns lit up the night sky, providing a perfect end to a wonderful evening.

Fellowship and Community

Events like these are not just about the game or concert; they strengthen our church family bonds. It was heartwarming to see members of all ages coming together, sharing laughter, and making memories. Elena, Michael, Nsundidi, Maria, and Rev. Leslie each brought their unique presence, adding to the richness of our time together.

We encourage everyone to join us for future outings and events. These moments of fellowship make our church community special. Let’s continue to support one another, celebrate together, and cherish the beautiful experiences we create as a family.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this memorable evening. We look forward to many more shared adventures and joyful moments. Stay tuned for upcoming events and gatherings, and let’s continue to build our community with love and joy.

Blessings,

The First Presbyterian Church of Buffalo
