Kirkwood Work Campers Serve with Heart in Buffalo!

We were delighted to welcome the Kirkwood Work Campers to our sanctuary for a day of dedicated service and fellowship. This group of approximately 12 members, along with their chaperon Mack Tackes, undertook the significant task of cleaning our entire church. From the pulpit to the pews, ceilings to floors, every corner of our sanctuary was meticulously cared for.

The Senior High Fellowship from First Presbyterian Church in Kirkwood, Minnesota, embarked on this journey with 36 high school students and seven adults, coming all the way to Buffalo, New York, for a two-week mission trip. Their enthusiasm and dedication were truly inspiring.

The work campers expressed how impressed and uplifted they felt by our sanctuary. Their visit here is just one part of their broader mission. Throughout their time in Buffalo, they will be engaging with various organizations, including an equine therapy farm for people with PTSD, Habitat for Humanity builds, and helping fill new housing units for refugees.

We are grateful for their hard work and the spirit of service they brought to our community. Here are some photos of the group diligently cleaning the sanctuary:

Let us continue to pray for their safety and success as they carry out their mission work in our city.

Thank you, Kirkwood Work Campers, for your incredible contribution!
