Sunday Mornings at 9:30 a.m. we will gather in the Pastorís Study to study the prophecies of the coming Messiah. The Old Testament has a number of passages the point to the coming of Jesus. For literally hundreds of years the people of Israel waited for their salvation. These passages tell us what they were hoping for as they waited for God to save them. We will also address the question of why, with all these passages, so many first century Jewish leaders did not recognize Jesus as the Messiah when he finally showed up. Everyone is welcome to join us for this fascinating discussion; and we hope you will!
From 1:00 until close to 3:00 p.m. a group of wonderful adults meets every week to study the Scripture together. The group is now studying the Letter of Paul to the Romans. This amazing epistle has been a foundation for Christian theology and conduct ever since it was sent to a fledgling church in the very capital of the Roman Empire. The letter has a lot of wisdom to share, and even some good material to argue about as we explore our faith together. We hope youíll make a special effort to join this delightful group.
